Naturopathic Consult

Naturopathy health care covers all aspects of family health from prenatal to geriatrics.

Naturopathic Medicine, or Naturopathy, is a practice of preventing, assessing and treating conditions of the human mind and body. By integrating conventional health sciences with a range of natural therapies and traditional medicines, naturopathy treats the patient's mental, emotional and physical states for a lasting effect.

The foundation of Naturopathy is the philosophy of the "healing power of nature". This means that the body has its own healing energy within and with the help of naturopathic treatment; the body can repair itself and recover from illness if it is in a healthy and supportive environment.

Naturopathy is a system of healing that aims to provide holistic or whole body healthcare. It focuses on treating the cause of a disease rather than the symptoms themselves.

For your first consultation at Polly Clinic please allow 1.5 hours. The consultation includes a comprehensive assessment including diet, nutritional state, tongue, nail and eye (iridology) analysis and environmental and lifestyle factors to ascertain and treat illness, prevent disease and restore wellbeing to the individual.

A full medical history including any medications or prescription drugs will be required.

Treatment may include specific dietary modification or recommendations, lifestyle management and counselling, herbal medicines, nutritional medicines, homoeopathics or Bach flower remedies.

Each treatment regime is specific to your individual needs and all consultations are completely confidential.

Follow Up/ Repeat Consultations generally take 45 minutes.

Homoeopathic Consult

Homoeopathic medicine is based on the principle of "like cures like." The aim is to stimulate the body's own healing responses using individually tailored remedies that are derived from substances obtained from plants, minerals, animals or disease states.

Polly Clinic is able to offer both Classical and Modern homoeopathic treatments.

Classic: Using a singular "Constitutional" remedy to treat the patient (as a whole).

Modern: Using remedies according to the symptom picture or acute conditions.

Prescribed medicinal remedies incur an additional cost of $15.00 (if given without consultation) for update of patient records.

Polly is available for lectures, talks or workshops on Natural Medicine, Diet, Lifestyle, Nutrition or Homoeopathy at a rate to be negotiated. Send an with a brief outline of your needs and Polly will discuss the options with you.
